Why Credit?

Why Credit?

     Crediting is when you cite your sources or where you got your picture from or who wrote the music or anything else you put on that isn’t yours. You need to acknowledge their ideas and their work. To credit you put the website url or the name of the person who took the picture/did the work. Wouldn’t you want someone to say when they used your work?If you cite your sources then you can avoid plagiarism. I still have yet to know some other ways to cite sources. That is what I learned!

Minds of Horses

three horses stand in my view,

two light, one dark,

the light from the sun,

keeping darkness at bay,

A tie sits on the wire fence,

keeping them from escaping,

some thing they cannot control,

using the minds of horses

What My Avatar Means to Me!

What my avatar means to me is unique from everyone else. Everyone picked there avatar for a reason, some different than others. One reason I picked my avatar the way she is is her hair. My hair looks very similar to her hair but, the hair symbolizes more than that to me. The hair is very wild. To me that represents my wild spirit. I love to be wild! Another reason is the background. I love blue. I also love the ocean since my mom lived in Hawaii for 10 years and my middle name is Hawaiian. That is why I picked the background to be blue. I picked the shirt because it seems like something I would actually wear. I want my avatar to represent me so I picked something totally my style. If you just look at my avatar it seems like any other one, but my avatar has special meaning to me!

Cheer Is My Sport

   I am passionate about cheer.  Cheer is a very fun sport for me.  I like cheer because I have fun. In cheer you make lots of new friends you would never meet outside of cheer. Also you get lots of exercise in cheer. You tumble and flip to build up muscle. You stunt too, as a flyer you build up leg muscle and as a base you build up both leg and arm muscle. I love cheer for these reasons and more. Hoped you liked it!

       Cheer consists of tumbling, stunting, and dance/choreography. Stunting is my personal favorite. In stunts you can be a flyer, a base, a backspot, or sometimes a frontspot. I am a flyer. The flyer is the person who is being held or thrown up in the air and doing different skills. The bases are the two people on each side that throw and catch the flyer. They have to catch the flyer’s foot in certain skills and the flyerś whole body in others. The back spot is the person behind the stunt. The backspot catches the flyer if she falls. The backspot also catches the flyers ankles and/or thighs in the stunt. Front Spots are optional they hold the flyers shins or throw in a basket. This is cheerleading.
